2020 Wolfpack Way of Life Wellness Fair

Wednesday, February 19 | 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. | Talley Student Union State Ballroom

NC State University is excited to announce our 2020 NC State Wellness Fair. To ‘Build a Thriving Pack‘, this fair aims to engage students, faculty and staff in each of our six elements of wellness: Purpose, Social, Financial, Emotional, Physical and Community.

Our Wolfpack Way of Life Wellness Fair is a unique opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn about local and campus resources, and to connect with programs that promote a healthy and active lifestyle. We are expecting more than 80 + vendors to participate in this year’s fair.

Join us for music, food, free giveaways and break out sessions featuring movement breaks and a cooking demo.

Biometric Screenings

For those that did not register for a free biometric screening, limited walk-In spaces will be available beginning at 2:00 PM – 3:-00 PM in Talley Student Union Room 3222.

To get a screening, you must be a State Health Plan member and bring your insurance card. A nurse will check your blood pressure, body mass index, and cholesterol and glucose levels. Each screening will take about 15 minutes.

The privacy of the screening results is protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. NC State will not receive the results of employees’ screenings. You will be given your confidential screening results before you leave the screening area. A nurse will be available for a private consultation about your results.
